We are restricting ecommerce accessories orders (website, eBay and Amazon) to UK addresses only for now, while we assess how deliveries outside the UK may be affected by the effect of coronavirus on the international postal system. Wax Removal Service

Repairs and Adjustments of Hearing Aids / Other Accessories / Equipment
We are dealing with repairs mostly by post at present to minimise contact and to reduce the risk of transmission of coronavirus. For adjustments we ask you to bear with us while the situation becomes more normalised. There is no ‘walk-in’ service without an appointment at our clinic at present, any visitors MUST be screened via our triage system before being allowed in.
We also have a drop-off service where you can deposit hearing aids and other equipment at our door and then wait in your car while we work on your equipment.
Please do not be offended by these inconvenient steps we are having to take, we are doing this to keep everyone safe within our industry guidelines.

The Steps We Are Taking To Keep You Safe
As a company we take the health and well being of our clients very seriously. From very early on in the coronavirus outbreak the government decreed that local audiology clinics like ours were classed as an ‘essential service’ and we were urged to keep the doors open and ensure we continued to look after the needs of our clients and general public with hearing problems.
We were instructed to maintain social distance rules which meant no face to face interactions with clients but still offering the best support we could within those parameters.
We have stayed open as a company throughout the coronavirus pandemic with skeleton staff and extra precautions to make sure we don’t let anyone down.
Most Recent Guidance
On 1/5/20 we received updated guidance from a collection of the main audiology advisory bodies in the UK (BSHAA, BSA, BAA and AIHHP) on how to interact with our clients at less than social distance in a safe manner, minimising risk and satisfying infection control procedures.
The document that was released had substantial input from the Infection Prevention Society and drew much content from WHO research (World Health Organisation), Public Health England, Centre for Disease Control and Prevention, NICE and ENT UK.
This guidance is aimed at practitioners working within audiology who hold a professional registration with HCPC, RCCP, AHCS, those normally working in the field of audiology alongside qualified/registered professionals, and those currently on an accredited training programme.
The full document can be found here, and a summary of the main points for us to follow the guidance are as below;
Currently, we are advised to minimise contact with clients as much as we can. If something can be done without a face to face interaction, and particularly avoiding interaction within the 2m social distancing area, then it should be done remotely.
Where face to face contact is necessary, before that takes place we need to ascertain risk. That means we ask you some questions specific to Covid-19 (a triage questionnaire), your potential exposure and infection risk.
At the moment we are avoiding home visits as it is hard to control the risk factors.
We can accept visitors to our clinic as long as we are satisfied you pass triage and it is practical to take the appropriate precautions including adequate PPE for you and for us.
Some of the measures we employ to keep everyone safe (this is not an exclusive list and is subject to change at short notice based on advice and best practice) are as below;
- We will ask you to enter our clinic only when we are ready for you, we ask you to wait in your car in the car park until we are ready to accept you in.
- The area you will occupy in clinic will be thoroughly cleaned down before you arrive.
- We will ask you to refrain from touching any surfaces, doors and door frames, furniture etc during your visit (apart from the seat you sit in).
- We will ask you to thoroughly apply hand gel (that we will supply) on entry and exit, and possibly at intervals during your stay.
- We will also ask you to wear a fluid resistant disposable mask (that we will supply) throughout your visit.
- For our part our staff will observe the highest standards of hand hygiene, wear the appropriate PPE at the appropriate times, (including but not exclusive to) disposable face masks, disposable gloves, disposable aprons, disposable chair covers.
- Any accessories for equipment we use that touches you during your visit will be of a disposable nature.
We do hope you understand why we have these extra measures in place. We are working under instructions from organisations with great credibility and our intention is to do our best to look after the interests of our clients as best we can in these difficult times.
