PROTECThear inserts are custom moulded soft silicone earpieces, individually crafted under the strictest conditions from an exact impression of the user’s ears. (UK Only).
Each pair is manufactured using specially formulated medical grade silicone, to offer the highest degree to comfort whilst providing a highly effective acoustic barrier.
Available in yellow, flesh, blue and transparent colours, can be canal size or full shell.
PROTECThear ear plugs incorporate a passive acoustic filter which attenuates loud noises whilst maintaining the ability of the individual to hear speech, ambient noise and to use telephones and radios. Excessive background noise is reduced, resulting in increased safety and working comfort.
PROTECThear are suitable for motorcyclists and the motorsport industry as they can be worn comfortably under a helmet for continuous use on the road without irritation. They are also suitable for industry and factory use.
CE marked and tested to EN 352-2: 1993.
If you wish to purchase this product we need a good set of impressions so we have the exact shape of your ears, all the ear protection products we supply are custom made for comfort and with ear protection in mind.
There is a separate charge for impressions. If you are in the Yorkshire / Lancashire area you can come to us at our offices in Silsden, near Keighley, West Yorkshire for this service. Our fee depends on the number of people requiring impressions. For one set of impressions the cost is £30, for 2-5 sets of impressions the cost is £25 each, and 5+ the cost is £20 per set of impressions.
Alternatively you might ask a hearing aid audiologist near you to make some ear impressions for you and then send the impressions on to us, their costs will vary. If you are struggling to find someone please email us and we will try to help.
Once we have the ear impressions to hand you can order your chosen product, you will need to let us know your colour choice and preference for full shell / canal size.
