Large, convenient buttons and an easy-to-read display make accessing the features of your hearing instruments easier than ever before.

N.B. This remote control is only suitable for the Primax, Binax and Micon range of hearing aids, 7px, 7bx and 7mi, 5px, 5bx and 5mi and 3px, 3bx and 3mi (but not Siemens Ace which are non wireless). It is not backwards compatible with previous Siemens ranges.

It is also compatible with wireless versions of NHS issue Siemens Octiv and Teneo hearing aids, if you see a ‘+’ in the title of the hearing aid it’s wireless, if not it isn’t.

Basic version

  1. Key lock switch
    Slide the switch to lock the keys and protect against unintentional changes
  2. Display
    • Indicates change of listening program and volume
    • Status bar (alarm, battery)
    • Function of control buttons
  3. Program change button
    • Press to change current listening program
    • Program change activated when pressed, even when in standby mode (allows for discreet commands, e.g. while the remote is still in your pocket)
  4. Volume up button
    Press to increase volume
  5. Volume down button
    Press to decrease volume
  6. Auxiliary menu
    Press the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously to access the auxiliary menu
    (allows you to set time, set alarm clock, view battery status and contact data)
  7. Upper control button
    Reset hearing instruments to default program/volume
  8. Lower control button
    Mute/unmute hearing instruments

Advanced version

    • Press to reactivate the display from standby mode

    Press to decrease volume
  6. Auxiliary menu
    Press the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously to access the auxiliary menu (allows you to set time, set alarm clock, view battery status and contact data)
  7. Upper control button
    Can be programmed for various functions (default setting: reset hearing instruments to default program/volume)
  8. Lower control button
    Can be programmed for various functions (default: mute/unmute hearing aids)

NB. The Siemens easyPocket needs to be paired and programmed to your hearing aids. You will need to arrange for this locally (you may be charged a fee for this service). NHS hearing aids can only be paired by your local NHS audiology department so please ask them if they are happy to do this before ordering from us.
