QuickGuard is a direct replacement for HF4 wax guards. They ship as 8 sticks in a pack. If you have previoiusly been using HF4 wax guards then you can safely use Quickguards as a direct replacement / alternative.
Quickguard wax guards enable your hearing aids with long-lasting moisture and ear wax resistance, they actively prevent fluids from entering the receiver and hence shield the sound path. This great protection is achieved by a nanocoating applied to the QuickGuard. The nano-coating results in an enhanced performance, longer hearing instrument life and increased satisfaction.
- Is the QuickGuard side-specific like the HF4? No, the QuickGuard can be used on both the right and left hearing device (they are now a neutral colour rather than RED (right) and BLUE (left).
- If I have an HF4 wax guard in my current hearing aid, will I be able to use the new QuickGuard solution to remove the old wax guard? Yes, the QuickGuard application stick is backwards compatible.
- Will there be a change in the performance of the new QuickGuard solution compared to the HF4? No, the acoustic characteristics of the QuickGuard are the same as the HF4 with the added benefit of the nano-coating which results in an enhanced performance, longer hearing instrument life and increased consumer satisfaction.
N.B. The packaging for this product looks the same as similar wax guard products available for other manufacturers. Please note that Nanocare Cerustop, Starkey Hearclear and Siemens Signia miniReceiver wax Guards are NOT interchangeable.
