N.B. This device is compatible with the Specsavers Advance x18, x19 and x80 bluetooth hearing aid range where ‘x’ signifies the technology level (eg 218, 519 or 818). Not compatible with entry level Specsavers Advance (118, 119, 180 or any CIC, IIC or Silk product).
It is also compatible with some newer Audioservice and Rexton bluetooth hearing aid ranges.
It is NOT backwards compatible with older products and will not work with other brands including Signia branded hearing aids. If unsure please ask us for clarification.
SmartMic transforms your hearing aids into a hands-free mobile headset and wireless headphones that stream premium stereo quality from any Bluetooth device – mobile phones, PCs, laptops and smart assistants like Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
You can accept phone calls without having to take the phone out of your pocket, you can stream the phone call into both of your hearing aids which significantly increases the quality of your conversation.
You can also stream sound from your TV into your hearing aids via Smart Transmitter 2.4Ghz, and then if your phone rings you can instantly take calls without having to turn off the TV sound manually.
SmartMic can be used as a remote microphone for the best speech understanding in the most challenging situations. You can stream a speaker’s voice directly into your hearing aids from a distance of up to 20 metres. As a result, you hear the speaker as clearly as if he or she were standing right next to you.
NB. Pairing SmartMic to your hearing aids is easy, simply switch both your hearing aids and the SmartMic off and back on again, sit the aids next to the SmartMic and wait 30 seconds while the pairing process completes. That’s it!
