Phonak Virto Infinio are the very latest range of custom ‘in the ear’ hearing aids to be released by Phonak.

Available in all four technology levels of i30, i50, i70 and i90. That’s Entry Level, Mid Range, Advanced and Premium respectively. Virto I supersedes the older Virto P range.

Virto I is part of the Infinio family of Phonak hearing aid technology and based on the latest ERA chip technology.

It is available in various sizes of custom product, including the super tiny Titanium (ultra discreet IIC invisible in canal), CIC (comletely in canal), and the new and groundbreaking ITC-R (rechargeable) model.

Biometric Calibration

Phonak Virto Infinio have Biometric Calibration. Engineered to provide better hearing performance, customised specifically for your individual ear and ear shape.

Each ear is unique, each ear hears differently. Each and every person is individual. Even our left ear differs from our right. The distinctive characteristics of our ear anatomy has an influence on how sound is captured, directed towards the ear drum and converted into information that the brain can understand.

The Phonak proprietary hearing aid modelling software measures and analyses the unique characteristics of your individual ear anatomy. It identifies over 1600 biometric data points, then calculates the unique calibration settings for each Virto Infinio hearing aid.

Saved into the hearing aid memory, these calibration settings ensure increased accuracy and precision. In this way, Phonak Virto Infinio is able to more reliably sense where sound is coming from, thereby giving you access to better hearing performance.

Autosense OS and main features

AutoSense OS analyzes the sounds around you every 0.4 seconds. It can identify whether you’re in a noisy restaurant, car, concert hall or at home. It draws upon multiple features, blending them to create over 200 distinct settings to precisely match your sound environment. The result – unmatched hearing performance and sound quality.

Below is a breakdown of some of the more important features available in Virto I.

  • AutoSense OS – Seamlessly fits to the changing listening environment. AutoSense OS accurately captures and analyses the sound environment. Then, more precisely than ever before, it blends feature elements from multiple programs in real time to provide a seamless listening experience.
  • Speech in Loud Noise enables you to automatically focus on a single voice in a noisy crowd. The hearing aid automatically focusses on the voice you want to hear. This allows you to effortlessly interact in the most cluttered of soundscapes
  • Speech in 360 automatically selects the direction of speech and sends this speech signal from one ear to the other. Improving speech intelligibility without the need to face the speaker.
  • Speech in Wind – Speech in Wind detects the wind noise in both hearing aids. Then, through sophisticated binaural processing the results are compared in real-time. The aid with the better speech signal is identified and the good signal is streamed to the other side.

Phonak Virto Infinio-R connects directly to iOS, Android smartphones or other Bluetooth enabled devices. With the plug and play TV Connector, you can enjoy TV programs. You can also receive hands-free calls and stream TV, music, e-books, podcasts and more. Additionally, Infinio-R distinguishes between streamed speech and music signals, and automatically adjusts for an enhanced sound quality.
